The key indicator to tracking improvement is your Balls Per Inning (BPI) average. For example, if you shoot a match and play 20 innings and made 30 balls, you have a 1.5 BPI. If you make 30 balls in 10 turns at the table, you have a 3.0 BPI. Mastering ball positioning skills will have a dramatic affect on this key indicator.

Example 1

• Hit the 1 ball half full, 11:30, slightly more than a medium speed.

Example 2

Get position on the 2 ball.

• 12:00 cue ball, with a moderate soft stroke.

• 6:00 cue ball, with a medium stroke.
