Practice this TML pattern on your table until each one becomes a known and trustworthy shot.
This is an completely different way to send the ball around the table to a big ball in the corner. Make sure the table is clear of obstruction balls. I
If obstructing balls prevent the fancy 10:30 shot, this 12:00 can be your alternate solution. The ball comes in with a slight reverse spin.
This reverse spin on this shot is a great way to come back to the head corner pocket or to the foot corner pocket on the same side. This is another reason to learn reverse spins and how to make them a personal tool. It's a great way to surprise opponents.
Other Sized Tables
For 8 foot tables, the same type of pattern requires about 1-1/4 tips out from center to get the paths shown. For 7 foot tables, 1-1/2 tip out from center is necessary to follow the pattern. The distances on small tables are less, so when the cue ball travels around in a trapezoid pattern, the rail contacts are more distorted.
