CB location (M3), Target Diamond (A7)
Practice this TML pattern on your table until each one becomes a known and trustworthy shot.
10:30 Analysis
This shot thoroughly covers the diagonal area on the two corners. Practice this - it's a fun way to move the ball around.
12:00 Analysis
This is one of the unusual shots in this library. The ball contacts all four rails and comes back to begin the pattern again. The ball will just reach the side pocket.
1:30 Analysis
Counting diamonds on the reverse spin back to the head rail gives you this trustworthy shot. The ball comes almost perfectly straight back and the spin brings it backwards.
Other Sized Tables
For 8 foot tables, the same type of pattern requires about 1-1/4 tips out from center to get the paths shown. For 7 foot tables, 1-1/2 tip out from center is necessary to follow the pattern. The distances on small tables are less, so when the cue ball travels around in a trapezoid pattern, the rail contacts are more distorted.
