Practice this TML pattern on your table until each one becomes a known and trustworthy shot.
The running English on this does send the ball to the corner. It's worth a bit or practice to determine the needed speed to reach that pocket.
This covers a narrow band of the table. Some running English is added on the 3rd rail. The ball can reach the far pocket, but may need extra speed assist. Play with the shot and find out.
The reverse spin makes this a surprising pattern. It's a good way to come back diagonally back up table. But there is a little twist. On the 3rd rail, the ball still holds some reverse spin - just enough to get the ball into the corner. Another interesting application of reverse spin.
Other Sized Tables
For 8 foot tables, the same type of pattern requires about 1-1/4 tips out from center to get the paths shown. For 7 foot tables, 1-1/2 tip out from center is necessary to follow the pattern. The distances on small tables are less, so when the cue ball travels around in a trapezoid pattern, the rail contacts are more distorted.
