CB location (M3), Target Diamond (Q9 long)
Practice this TML pattern on your table until each one becomes a known and trustworthy shot.
10:30 Analysis
This shot is worthy of practice. It's unusual path brings the ball around the table and straight to the corner pocket.
12:00 Analysis
This is worth remembering when you have a small ball target. It covers the center spot as well as the center diamond area on the footer short rail.
1:30 Analysis
The reverse spin gets the ball to the side pocket in a nice "half table" round-the-world pattern. Because so much energy was lost on the 1st rail, the ball path does not continue to the corner.
Other Sized Tables
For 8 foot tables, the same type of pattern requires about 1-1/4 tips out from center to get the paths shown. For 7 foot tables, 1-1/2 tip out from center is necessary to follow the pattern. The distances on small tables are less, so when the cue ball travels around in a trapezoid pattern, the rail contacts are more distorted.
