This setup concentrates on moving the CB AFTER the OB is pocketed.

Drills & Exercises - CB Control Skills (pathways) - Easy Set 2 of 4

Drills & Exercises – CB Control Skills (pathways) – Easy Set 2 of 4

Instructions:
DONUTS: one of OB – one for CB, marker donuts to show the pathways.

  1. Position the CB and OB. Pocket the OB and make the CB travel o the intended path.
  2. Re-spot OB and CB and repeat each path until the action is automatic (about 10 consecutive successes will achieve this comfort level).
  3. When one path is mastered, move to the next path until all paths belong to you.

Proof of competence: THREE consecutive successful placements.

Suggestions: Practice this with slow, medium and fast speeds. In addition to the making the CB travel the intended path, various speeds may be necessary to get shape for the next OB.  Use any type of CB spin to achieve the intended results.
