(D&E) Drills & Exercises – Around the Table Game – Singles, Set 2 of 2

(About the Author)

This progressive exercise to improve your playing skills is in the book Drills & Exercises for Pool & Pocket Billiards.

Purpose: Runout all the balls on the table. Set a target marker to preselect the next CB location on pocketing the OB (piece of paper, coin, chalk, etc.) CB path must avoid any other ball on the table.

Instructions:
1. Use donuts to setup the OB positions on the table.
2. Start with Ball-in-Hand.
3. With one inning, pocket all balls in each closest pocket
4. Set up and repeat.

Suggestions:
– Pocket balls in any order (in sequence, reverse order, every other ball, etc.).
– Set CB target after EVERY shot (selected corner, either end, middle).
– Adjust the distance CB must stop near the marker (for example, within 1/2 D, 1 D, 2D).
